Yes I am, I like cranks and spinnerbaits.

I LIKE catching fish. If that's what they want, that's what I want to do. But I admit I love the "tick-tick" you feel when they take that bait and start moving away with it.

 

I never said I didn´t like to catch fish, a man gotta do what he gotta do in order to get the job done, actually, I´m deadly to bass with soft plastics and jigs but that don´t mean I like them, it´s boring as hell, I like to cast and retrieve fast, I like to machine gun cover, the only jigs that fit the style of fishing I like are swim jigs.

Just over 5lbs (Largemouth) on a T-Rigged green pumpkin 3" Senko.

It was at a crowded park lake in Va.  My arm was tired from slinging spinnerbaits and inlines so I tied on the Senko, relaxed, and caught my PB bass

This was about 10 years ago, but I remember it like it was last week.

Ok, se we have established that:

Now, we establish that not only Raul hates soft plastics and jigs but also, within the universe of soft plastics Raul also has some particular preferences, out of all soft plastics:

 

THE SOFT PLASTIC RAUL HATES THE MOST IS THE SENKO !!!!

 

So, Raul hates soft plastics, out of all the soft plastics the most hated by Raul is the senko, 

 

Raul goes to fish and determines that given the conditions and the location has to pick a friggin´ soft plastic, out of all his soft plastics he specifically picks a goddam senko and ......catches this:

6.5# on a snag proof frog. It was about 10 years ago too. I love the frog, it seems to discourage dinks. I've caught several bass in that range, but none bigger. But I fish a place now that has bigger bass in it. So a PB is always my goal.
