How do I get rid of the crap there's a bunch all over by the trampoline and I don't want the kids to get it. I'm already covered but I don't want to get it anymore either otherwise I'd just grab it and toss it.

My 6 year old pointed it out and said you can make a spray with "sugar and stuff" I'm guessing my ex father Inlaw said something to him about it any clue guys?

It's all over the side of that tree and the old play house

And the pit in the rest of the yard

Have somone else do it.

Must use a poison ivy/brush killer.  NEVER BURN IT.  The oils attach themselves to the smoke and get in your sinus' and lungs.  You think having it on your arm is bad...

Lowe's or Home Depot or any hardware store should have it.

Now that you got it you might as well be the one.  The only way is to physically rip it down and remove it.  even dead it can give you a dose.  suit up good with gloves and long sleeves and get it done...  don't burn it.. if you do the smoke can give it to you...

once you get it cut down shoot roundup on the stumps...

Find some goats, they eat it. Then all you have to do is kill the goats.

Fixed it for ya..

Roundup has mix made specifically for poison ivy. It works.

I hear Raider is chasing money. Perfect job for him.

What ever you do DO NOT burn it, the smoke carries the oil and it will get inside your noise, esophagus and lungs. It will darn near kill ya, learned that the hard way. Get some poison ivy spray from your nearest supplier, regular weed and brush killer will not phase it. Poison ivy laughs at regular round up. I'm no longer allergic to it and just pull it down and out by the roots.

As mentioned earlier, don't burn it - use poison ivy spray.   Once you've got it, use Technu - that stuff is the best that I've found.

Dip a bush in straight Round Up not mixed and paint two leafs of the poison ivy. It will kill the whole plant clear down to the roots. I've done this when ivy grows in my bushes and it kills the ivy and not the bush.

The roundup or ortho poison ivy killer does a good job killing it. Even when dead, you can get a rash from it for years. You need to kill it and remove it.

Somebody mentioned putting Round up on the stump. That will not work.  Round up works through the leaves to kill the plant.

Dude just buy me a plane ticket, no longer allergic, I'll pull it up. Price is plane ticket and a smallie fishing trip ;)

The smallie bite has come to a screeching halt here for me. It's been almost two weeks since I caught one. Before I was going every day after work and could almost call it with each cast now I just look like an idiot waving a fly rod around im the creeks.

WNY. Holley to be specific it's between buffalo and Rochester right on Lake Ontario

You're better off tearing it down when it's alive.. that way the leaves will stay attached and give you less mess to worry about.  Once it's cut down spray the ends of the vines or paint them with roundup.  Contrary to popular belief roundup works good for killing stumps too.

Well nuts, I'll be going thru the eastern part.

2-4-D spray. Kills poison ivy, oak, and sumac in about 48 hours. Won't ever come back in that area either.

Several years ago I used roundup on some.  Killed it dead in a couple of days after spraying it on.  Don't burn it or chop it up.  The oil is carried in the smoke and small pieces of the plant can be carried in the wind if chopped up.
