Not as much as a 5" GYCB senko. In my observations a 5" Dinger on a 1/16th oz wacky jig will fall about as fast as weightless Senko, and a dinger on an 1/8th oz head will fall as fast as a senko on a 1/16th oz head....maybe slightly faster. If you want to compare 4" sticks,  the 4" dinger fall rate weightless is soooo close to a 4" GYCB Senko, that it's almost a non issue.The rate of fall with a stick bait................any brand stick bait, is what gives it the "wiggle" that guys talk about. I have yet to see a knockoff, that wouldn't wiggle with a little more weight added to it. Senkos are not magic, but they are priced like they are. I used to use dingers, then switched to Senkos, and am back to dingers. Same amount, and quality of bass in my boat, more $$ in my pocket, and I just like fishing with wacky heads over weightless..........win win for me.

 I just weighed one my watermelon seed five inch Yum-dinger.  It came in at 0.35 ounces.  But then I weighed a junbug five inch Yum-dinger and it came it at 0.30 ounces.

Get a digital table scale from the grocery store used for measuring food portions. I have one that my wife bought for it's intended purpose but I've used it more for weighing baits.

How does this work? Are you saying a 4" dinger weighs more then the 5" dinger?

No,no, no.....typo on my end. What I meant was the 4" Dinger is closer in weight/fall rate to the 4" GYCB Senko, that to my eye the difference is very very minor.

Yes, a 5" Senko is much heavier than a 5" dinger.

Interesting. Have you had the chance to weigh them yet?

Bout a half oz..

Only weight i use on senko style baits 90% of the time is a small nail..
