Every time I put on a discontinued BPS topnocker the magic seems to happen. It's the greatest top water bait I have in my arsenal to date. I regret not buying more of them.

Now every time I have a lure that works I stock up on them in all colors. I even have the Mann's dragunfly plastics. Another hot bait. The little purple dragunfly split shot rigged presented in the open weed pockets like a hatching dragunfly works awesome. Do you stock up on your hottest baits that you can depend on?

I've been using powerbait shad and have been hitting more times than not. I made sure I stocked up on those for $3 at Walmart.

I have a Topknocker still in kind of a holographic pearl color if you're interested. 

Yes I have stocked up on Bomber Prop A,s  when they were discontinued.

 

 I use to fish the Mississippi river a bit and a chartreuse Bomber flat A out fished everything else I tried by so much that  I bought six just for the big river .

 

If I could find some Rogers Big Jims I would buy a dozen right now.
