Well last weekend it happened.  Was fishing a local Heartland with a friend and about noon was heading to another spot when boat did a thump/a wiggle and a wall of water came over the back.  Lifted the motor and no shaft and no prop.......sadness.  Looks like the insurance company is going to cover but gosh the wait.  Can't get my boat into the shop till the 13th of July.  Not crazy bout calling others to go fishing so will get a lot of honey do's caught up (yeah right).  Everything is out of the boat now and so when I get it back it will get a complete wash/wax and will be ready for battle I hope....me too.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. That's one of a boaters worst nightmares. But in a month you'll be whole again and laughing about it.

Good thing you have insurance.  Sure is a bummer though.
