Thank God! A new daiwa without t-wing! Haven't bought a daiwa in a while but this one has my attention. Looks fly.

Haven't used a new Zillion, but love my older models.  Hopefully it won't be long before a Shimano guy decides to sell his shortly after trying one.....at 50% off.  I'll be waiting.  

I absolutely need one in 7.9 and probably will buy SV spools for each of my first gen Zillions. Ya know, just in case

The sheer thought of how long just the spools are going to be backordered is sickening. I will be lucky to get one by next spring I would bet. 

 

I will definitely be adding at least 2-3 of these SV reels...assuming I can get one before next year.

Finally something worth smiling about outside of the Alphas SV! Don't get me wrong I love the Tatula but I just didn't need 12 other reels that are nearly identical with different colors and names.

This will be the demise of the zillion tws.

Looks like Daiwa is going to fill the $250-$400 price slot with really nice reels. Gotta hand it to them, they are quick learners

Sweet I was a late bloomer and never got a chance to fish the first zillions.  I've heard great stories with these platforms.

I wonder how this will effect the tws zillion sales as I can't see many original zillion owners carrying over to the new platform. I expect this to be a huge hit which is why they kept the original platform intact

My bet is the TWS Zillion becomes some sort of Tatula...  Just a hunch.   The Fuego (new one) is a Sexified Lexa by the looks of it.

You really should give the JDM Zillion TWS a look....I have 5 of the OG and I will take any of the JDM Zillion TWS over those...Lighter and still rugged" chunk and crank" build of the OG Zillion  with about 20 yds more distance on the cast.

I wouldn't mind the TW but the cleaning is what will get me with the mag seal and stuff. I don't know much about mag seal but heard somewhere that you need to send the reel in.

But I think before I get any of the TWS tatula body style versions it would be the Tatula HLC
