I couldn't get into it, I keep going back to hiphop/rock (90's) and very oddly enough I'm starting to slightly listen to country.

i like a lot of different music, but have never been a fan of dubstep.  and i have always like EDM, big fan of some old school breaks...

i think as a background music for some youtube fishing videos is about the only home for dubstep....  make sure that the "drop" is around the same timing as the hookset and you've got it....

lol pretty much... I've noticed that "Sail" by AWOLNATION is a pretty popular song for fishing videos. I've literally watched 30 fishing videos with that song. Matt Allen did a pretty cool frog fishing video with Radioactive by Imagine Dragons...

I love EDM, but Dubstep is just awful.  I can give you far better avenues, man...  That robot porn lowest common denominator Dubstuff just kills me.  Ugh.  

I like most of the lighter dubstep that I find on Monstercat collections through Pandora radio.

 

I tend to prefer industrial/aggrotech stuff though. I guess it's like the death metal of electronic music. 29 year-old me thanks 22 year-old me for not getting that Wumpscut tattoo that we wanted.

Congrats, you're growing up lol. I'm 46, grew up listening to Motley Crue, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Metallica always had a secret soft spot for Southern Rock, Skynyrd, Allman Bros etc. I still like the old rock like mentioned above this industrial, acid guttural crap (Cannibal Corpse) I despise. I find myself listening to new country more as well. Dubstep just sounds like old reworked techno to me.

I like some of the unlimited gravity remixes, like the awolnation sail remix. But that's about it, couldn't find any other stuff I liked.

Most people cant stand any electronic style music    but I can't get enough of it!!

i'm really thinking about trying to attend the tomorrowWorld festival just outside of atlanta...  saw some people in the lineup that i'd like to see:

benny benassi

kaskade

pete tong

and tiesto (even though he's not what he used to be)

 

just wish it wasn't so dam expensive to go to things like this.....
