Hey everyone, I am super excited that I just picked up a shimano core and need suggestion as to what to use it for. What's is the best use for it? What line should I put in it? Btw it is a 6.2:1 gear ratio.

I use mine for weightless senkos with 12lb Invisx.

I can use that reel for almost anything spooled with 12 lb Trilene Big Game.

I have one on my primary Texas-rig rod, 7' MH Legend Elite w/ 15lb flouro...One of my favorites.  Like Raul said, you can do pretty much anything with it.  

Just put it on your favorite rod & enjoy.

Great reel! I have mine on a GLX 855 - I use it for tons of stuff lipless cranks, shallow to medium cranks, and jerkbaits.

Awesome. Can't wait to get it spooled up and used. I just wasn't sure how it handled in high torque situations, such as spinnerbaits and square bills etc
