Did I Get A Fake G Loomis Nrx? Help!

Featured Replies

One of my Saint Croix rods has hand written specs from the factory, lol. Must be poor quality!

That probably looks pretty good, or at least unique.

^^^ I remember my first beer.

  • So Chicken Little says the sky is falling (I don't think my NRX has the specification data on the blank).   Then we get about 60 posts of Henny Penny, Ducky Lucky, Goosey Loosey, and Turkey Lurkey j

  • They must have made one good one, and apparently I bought it....oh well,...ain't I the "lucky" one. Hootie

if i wanted a rod like that 873 , i would have it built on a St.croix 5C71MHXF-B , would Citra-strip the blank down to the raw blank , would wrap with micro guides , fuji skt split reel seet and have split EVA grips .

would be a lot lighter and stronger and ridicously sensitive, a killer 3/8-1/2 oz. jig rod ....

Slightly off topic, but you would have a killer rod with a voided warranty.

And when it broke, would probably post all about it here, lol.

Ya, the kids are getting a bit testy on this one.  Remember kids, it's fishing.  It's supposed to be fun.
