So I am looking for a new rod. This rod will be a MH, fast or Extra fast.  Been considering a few rods in the $200 range.  G-Loomis E6x, Powell 3D Max, St.Croix Avid X. What is your choice??? Thanks!!!

Really hard to beat an Avid at the $200 price range

For $200 kistler klx or a little more helium 3 I would have to say my my h3 is hands down the most versatile rod I've ever owned

I like Loomis but I voted Croix..the warranty is stellar

I'd definitely be grabbing for the Avid X!

None of those. Phenix M1.

I have both the E6X and the Max 3D. Of these two the Max 3D is the better rod in my opinion, by a pretty wide ( and surprising ) margin.

I'm a big Powell fan but after they discontinued the Max and the Endurance I think St Croix is the best option out of these.

Another vote for the Zodias. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I received a 1610M shortly after the Classic and fell in love with it. One of my favorite rods I own. Shortly after I picked up a 172MH and that rod does ALOT of things well.

I own an Avid X and have used a Gloomis E6X. The E6X is ok but the Avid X is easily the better of the two. I have not fished with the Powell so I can't compare to that one.
