What wY do u like to wrap left to right or oppose??

Butt on the left, tip on the right.

i  build my handles on my rod stand with the butt to the right.  My wrapper is set up with the butt on the left, tip on the right.  Kinda odd, but so am I.

Same as I do it.

Butt on the left and tip to the right. I also wrap the stripping guide first and work my way to the tip, but that's a personal preference.

Left to right but you have to do the opposite for double footed guides, so ??

I'm a switch hitter, can and do go either way.  If you don't you will at times find yourself disadvantaged.  If you can wrap only one way the comment on double foot guides comes into play.  Going to reverse your rod in the wrapper with every foot?  It really isn't that big a deal to go either way, with a little practice. 

It's not that you can only wrap one direction, it's the orientation of the power wrapper.  If you are hand wrapping it does not matter.  

 

My wrapping motor is not reversible, so with the setup of my thread carriage and the direction my motor turns, I have to have the butt on my left to get the thread to come over the top of the blank from my thread carriage.

Got it, thanks.  I have for years used a home cobbled hand wrapper, and just recently bought what I think one would call a wrapping machine without the motor.  Wow, is that a game changer, love it.  I has 3 supports and a thread station that slides along to any position.  If I'd known how good it gets, would have done it years ago.  Didn't think I'm quick enough to take advantage of the motor.

The motors are variable speed with a foot control like a sewing machine.  I don't turn the rod any faster on most wraps.  It just gives you an extra hand.  I do crank up the speed on underwraps and butt wraps.

I'm a hand wrapper too.  I've never used a motor but I always thought a motor would be more handy for applying finish than actually wrapping guides.  But, i'm sure it's great for both once you get used to it.
