I somehow found a bass forum down south in the gulf/delta. They accepted me years ago with the same welcome as here.

One talked about using a bannana colored spinnerbait skirts.

Does anyone use this color?

If chartreuse/white counts, then yes! ;)

I've been known to throw one of these from time to time.

Whoa -- I had to Google "Choupique"!

Bowfin! Natives up here call them "dogfish" (when I moved here, I had to Google that too!). I catch them on in-line spinners and crankbaits sometimes. Tough buggers with attitude.

Had a guy win a club tournament with a bright yellow spinnerbait with one orange and one copper blade. 30 fishermen, he was the only person to catch a fish, but it was nearly 8 pounds. Strike King used to have a bright orange and yellow spinnerbait with bright orange blades that I did well with in muddy water and during the spawn.

Caught one yesterday on a rattle trap in a brackish water marsh. My reaction was I gotta nice bass. Then it was never mind that's a big redfish. Then there was cursing and anger
