If fishing from bank, 6'10 shimano.

From boat 7'3 shimano

6'10 Crucial. The 7 footer just isn't versatile enough.

I would personally buy the 7'3" Crucial.  The 6'10" would be my second choice.

I do a lot of bank fishing. My current jig rod I'm not a fan of, 7ft temple fork. I have a kayak I try to get out on but not so much.

I like the 6'10 crucial (well I like both, the 7'3 also) but that duckett is SO light weight!

I have currently an old shimano compre 6'6 medium heavy and all my other rods are 7ft. I was Thinkin a longer rod to change things up?

Idk :/

just to be clear, the crucial is the newest one i think...

full cork grip and the blank is a funky wavy green color after the reel seat and then its wavy grey the rest of the rod... sorry for the bad description

don't buy just for variation. Buy the rod that feels the most comfortable and fitting to your purposes.

The Crucial is the best rod of the bunch and the 7'3" HXF is best suited to your needs.  It's a no-brainer for me.

Ahh decisions!

The 7'3crucial first choice then 6'10" 2nd choice

Medium heavy crucial. Ime crucial mh fishes closer to heavy and would be a good jig, big worm, or frog rod.

I was thinking MH also. HXF on that rod, you'd better be throwing 1/2oz. or better the majority of the time. Either that or only flipping with it.

If they had a MH 7ft or taller crucial that would be nice, but unfortunately these are my only options :/ also, I have a 6'6 MH compre and am not a fan of it. I'm so used to my 7fters. I think 7ft and up is the way to go!

I have the 6'10" Crucial. It's a great all around rod and is exactly what I would expect for the price.

I recommend this product.
I love all Field & Stream rods. All of them have great value.
I bought Tec Spec 7'0" for myself and Inferno for my son last year and both worked very well.
This Arsenal rod is not cheap, but considering Fuji parts and super light weight, it is much cheaper than other similar spec rods. This is truly the best rod in the shop!

Cutbait, I was thinking about this one a while ago. Have you even used one on the water? I used to have a field&stream tec lite spinning rod. Loved it

I got the tech spec elite spinning rod several weeks ago when it was on sale for $59 It is a level below the arsenal, however, it is my favorite now. I like it much better than the Veritas I got last year. The elite has 36 ton graphite and micro guides, the arsenal is lighter and has cork. I handled one in the store and it was super light weight. I would highly recommend the tech spec arsenal.

Please note I have no affiliation with DSG or Field & Stream. I just visit the stores a lot, mostly to just look around, sometimes I actually buy something when I need it or can't hold myself back.
