I am pretty sure that is what it is but I can not be sure.

Looks like a one-off handmade to me.  Like some I tried 50 years ago when I was a kid with a pocket knife, a piece of balsa and some hardware....back before I knew that need to spend $20 on a lure.

Could a repainted AC plug or a repainted Arbogast AC plug. AC plugs are still being made by Alan Cole.

It looks like one to me repainted.

Ya i know it is repainted and needs a little work. I just happened to find it in a box of old musky lures over the weekend. Yes I know they still make them WRB but this one was kinda old so that was kinda cool. It is still a lure that would get used today and not like some old lures that is more a collectors item and not great for catching fish.

Looks like an Arbogast.

no those have a spot on the head where it come up straight vertical. I also dont see any pins on the tail.

Yea i noticed there were no pins. The last one in the bottom pic (chartreuse) don't have the spot.I'm not sure what it is.This was just my guess. It still could be the arbogast.Yours could be an old wooden version and these may be the modern plastic version.Today they would probably use glue instead of pins.I could'nt find an ac plug pic to compare it too.

I had an original from way back when. I look & see if I can find it. As I remember the tail was not pinned. The connecting V between the two parts looks correct. That bait might have been pinned after the tail was replaced.
