Anybody from the Tar Heel State? I live around Raleigh, mainly fish smaller ponds, occasionally lakes. I'd love to meet local BR members if there are any.

Various parks around town, the Catawba around Wylie and Island Mountain dam.

Winston-Salem, just moved here this summer.

Morganton NC. I usually fish ponds In the area and Lakes Rhodhiss and Hickory.

RTP area, usually fish lake Crabtree, or Umstead. 

you guys are making me homesick....  grew up in the mountains in Franklin, NC.  my mom lives in Morganton (near lake james).  I lived in Charlotte for a little over 10 years before moving to ATL (hate ATL, only here because of the wife  ).  

I've fished everywhere in between the mountains and Charlotte.  Most of my fishing time spent either on the little tennessee river or Lake Norman.

Man i miss NC..... and GO HEELS.

Tell me about Rhodhiss. I have been reading some good things in Game and Fish Magazine and have always wanted to try it out. I have a map. I even bought my boat at Tri-County Marine, right up the road. ANY INFO would be greatly appreciated.

I frequent the Huntersville area.

I'm a relocated Louisiana fisherman of around 30 years living in the Mcleansville. NC area.  I have camper at Buggs Island on the NC/Va border near Henderson, NC  I go up there around every two weeks.

Wilmington here and returning to fishing after a 25 year hiatus.
