Diawa Warranty

Featured Replies

Any one have any experience with diawa warranty? I have a broken t3 that needs to be sent in but not sure what to expect on price ect...

what's the matter with it?

I hear Daiwa is easy to deal with, fortunately I've never had to, though.

The entire thumb bar needs replacement. It snapped in the middle.

I'd just give them a call tomorrow. If it's under a year old then warranty should cover it. You'll have to pay to ship it to them. Over a year then you'll have to pay for whatever parts it takes to fix it. You might even get lucky. They've sent me quite a few parts free of charge over the years.

If its just the thumb bar, call them and have them send you it. Its a super easy fix. The turnaround time in my experience with daiwa was waaaay too long.

I dropped a t3 on my counter while the top was open and it broke. I sent it in with the standard $15 repair fee and they fixed it fairly quick and they even touched up the silver paint on the reel. Daiwa has excellent customer service regardless of what you might hear. They also keep parts around for a long time.
