Hi everyone

First time post to this site

Just wanted to give a little report on my home lakes for all you guys in so cal

Lake Casitas is a fair to good bad bite

Soft plastic are doing the job with the bigger bass from 3 -7 pounds

Lake Castaic is hot for strippers boiling in the early am

Once again soft plastics are the ticket for largemouth grubs and jigs for the smallies

With the ultra low water levels at both lake take advantage of some great shore fishing

    Always assumed that was an after dark thing when most bad decisions are made.

    Most strippers are 1 - 2 pounds this year with the rare 3+

    Lookin for that giant largemouth

    My pb is 14 .6

    Trying all year to top that

    Yep always out there every weekend

    The night fishing Fri and Sat was great

    Caught 20 + bass per night
