Lake temps start falling to low 50s to 40s what's your one go to pattern/bait? Mine would have to be drop offs and submerged brush and lip less crank and jig..

Blade Bait, jerkbaits and jigs. Good new is I only need to bring 3 rods this time of year. Same places and I use my electronics more to find them. They are usually stacked up but sometimes belly on the bottom.

Jerkbaits, crankbaits, and jigs should get the job done.

I use the traditional "stuff", however I want to try a float and fly when the water temps are in the high 30s and low 40s.
