Haven't been able to get on the water in a while and got some whopper ploppers for Christmas. Should I go with my 7'6" H Frog Rod or would a 6'6"-7' MH work with braid? Plan on throwing the 130 more than the 90.

    I fish the 130 on my frog rod with braid. I upgraded to 4x hooks though.

    I run both 90 & 130 on a 6'6 MH rod on braid and have no problem what so ever fishing it.

    A 7' MH is fine for either. I fish the 130 a lot. It was my little secret, but I guess the secrets out now... 50lb braid is my preference.
