New Topwater Ive Been Playing With

Featured Replies

I came up with this design after seeing a few chipmunks get swallowed on some different lakes. I hope to start selling them.

Nice looking bait

Thanks! I just hope people would buy something like it haha. Ive caught alot of fish on a similar model. Seems to work better in late summer and fall though. I mean most topwaters do but im just saying this pattern in particular.

That looks really cool! 8-)

In the pic it doesn't look like you used any topcoat on it.  Your bait looks very good, but the paint won't last very long without topcoat.

Yea that was before i put on the top coat. I just threw it together to see how it looked. Ive already put the top coat on and fished with it. Had a few grab it but they were more set on spawning than eating.

Took this bait out to a friends pond this morning to kill some time. Threw it up under some trees and caught 3 on 5 casts. None of them were under 4 pounds. This bait is insane!

Send some proto's to me in VA.  I'll tell you if they work or not.  I'm getting in a lot of fishing time while I'm unemployed, even though I'm not a greatly experienced bass fisherman.

Just kidding, but not really...

Cool little popper too. How long does it take you to make one?

The popper took me about an hour from start to finish. The chipmunk takes about a day because i carve them and sand them by hand. I also hand paint them too. Gives it more of a rugged look which has been working better than an airbrushed version i did.

very very cool  8-)
