Could you all help me please, grab spinner baits double bladed and measure the height, and length for me for 1/2 and under? I don't have any at my house right now and I'm designing a new tackle box. It only needs to be hard length.  I don't need to know the length of the skirt lol.

you need to measure your own spinnerbaits because different brands have different sizes. If you make it according to someone else's specs, you may regret it later.

Have you looked at available spinnerbaits storage boxes that hang the lure by the wire V at the line tie ?

Yes I have, I'm designing my own version of it in this box I bought. Some people build custom rods, i build custom tackle storage for various situations lol. 

Buy the various sizes you want first. You don't need a custom tackle box without any tackle.

 

Smalls (~1/8, 3/32 oz) and short arms : ~2"

Long arms: 2.5" to 3"

Good luck on your winter project. Sounds like fun.

I'm in Georgia before I leave for a bahamas cruise saturday. My tackle is sitting in Illinois. I just need rough ideas to design around.
