been away a while. i remember a member had a reel repair service. i think it was called daves reel repair. is he still active? i used him yrs ago. thanks

Dave passed away some months ago.  Sorry to pass the news this way.

Mike at DVT is a friend of mine, site sponsor, and a really outstanding reel tech.  Highly recommend him, not to mention he gives a discount to BR members.

Dave "Reel Mech" was good his passing is a loss to the industry. I'm proud to help fill his shoes and have helped a number of his former clients. Regards
