Randy Howell - Live Webinar TONIGHT 7PM

Featured Replies

Randy Howell will be doing a live webinar tonight at 7pm from the Livingston website on their new sound technology integrated into their crankbaits. Anyone fished these yet? They apparently produce an automated baitfish sound while traveling underwater.

I got one in LTB s few months ago. I haven't fished it yet but we put it into a bowl of water and it does make sounds, vibrates and lights up, whatever. I'm open minded about it.

Yeah, I got one from LTB too -- dive master 14. It's weird -- if my hands are sweaty and I hold it tight, I can get it to blink a blue light at me and make farting noises. It looks exactly like something that belongs in that "gimmick lures" thread.

But, I haven't tried fishing with it and I'm not Randy Howell, so what do I know.

Just an update, that's 7pm central, 8pm eastern.

The sound gets activated whenever both hook hangers get wet. This "short" is what causes the sound to turn on and off. That way you don't kill the battery by having it sit in your tackle box.

With that, I bought 2 or 3 of them last spring because of Randy. They fish fine, but I never caught anything on them. I just stick with my DT's instead.

Sure Randy loves them, too high price for me. I really not sure about this sound deal.

Real cool dude. Met him in the checkout line at Bass Pro in Auburn NY when the bass masters were fishing Cayuga. ..
