LC 1.5 & 2.5

Featured Replies

Is there a difference between the discontinued LC RC 1.5 2.5 ect and the current 1.5 2.5 ect? I see the RC ones are selling for 30 a pc. and more on ebay. Guess they are discontinued colors.

I've always assumed they were the same.  I have a ton of both and haven't noticed a difference in performance.  I definitely wouldn't pay $30 a piece for RC's.  They closed them out for like $6 IIRC.

After clunn was dropped they discounted the baits. For some reason panic ensued and raised prices and became a cult item much like original wiggle warts, I can't tell the difference in them and most importantly the fish don't either.

I can't tell the difference and also have/use both interchangeably. However, according to Hooligan who hadnt been around in way too long, there is supposedly a difference in the weighting and a hair difference in shape. Regardless, the rto and drs 1.5 are dynamite(really like the RTO 2.0 as well). Would never pay the price for a RC 1.5 when i cant tell a difference vs the ones today.

The LC 1.5 & 2.5 are no doubt productive baits.

Are they worthy of some of the high auction site prices they are commanding ?  If have a "rare" bait in a primary objective then perhaps so.

There's a certain SK sponsored Pro who's done pretty good with the $5 version of those baits too though.

Just saying.

I looked into it more, the LC RC baits on ebay that is. And they get those prices for them because the are discontinued colors and baits obviously. A lot of the copper colors that RC himself likes more than other colors.

Not certain why they are short of just being something discontinued, but after reading this post, I thought I'd throw a pair of my NIB RC1.5s on Ebay just to see what would happen. At $41 for the pair and still 2 days to go. Think I'll throw a couple more up there for sale at that price point :) Thanks for the heads up TxHawgs - LOL.
