Im thinking of getting some of the strike king XD lineup. Im narrowing it down 6 colors and wanted to see if you guys would make any changes on my choices:

black back chartruse

powder blue back chartruse

gizzard shad

sexy shad

blue gill 

chili craw

Out of the XD's I use four colors and that's all I need. They are:

Chart. Sexy Shad.............my go to color

Rootbeer...............smallmouth seem to love this color

Sexy Ghost minnow...............for clear water

Cart. Belly Craw..................for dirty water

I have found, bluegill, orange, and red craw colors work very well in shallow and lipless baits, but I like different colors for my deeper diving baits. The only color that crosses over and works well for me both in deep and shallow baits is the Chart. Sexy Shad.
