Did anyone see this rod coming?

Im interested in picking one up but there arent many available models.  Has anyone experienced one yet? Daiwa said this will be the exclusive rod of Randy Howell this year but he told his gopro  he was using steez xt at classic.

I don't really have anything to add but I am interested in checking these rods out too.

Got to see and play with them a little bit at the Classic.

The classic is really like the super bowl. Still considered last season. I bet he has at least one on the deck here on out.

Hows the reel seat?  How does it compare to tatula reel seat?

I have been wondering about these rods too. I'll be curious to see if they are a step up from the Tatula rods

Anybody tried one of these bad boys yet?

Thinking I may get the 7'1mh casting rod soon.

I'm thinking about getting a 7'6" heavy with a Tatula CT-R & 20lb fluoro for big jigs and deep carolina rigs. Maybe even smaller "big" swimbaits

I was looking at getting a couple of the cronos spinning rods but was waiting to hear some reviews on them first. Anybody used any of them?

Local shop had the 7 foot medium for retail price (they sell everything marked up...daiwa t3 ballistics still marked at $250 dollars)

Lightweight and the reel seat seems comfortable.  The x braiding down rod is intriguing.  Otherwise its just like the tatula and zillion rods had a child...

Id prefer to spend the 170 on a rod with more flair and history...but still the x braiding may make a difference.

I picked one up a few months ago. If I remember I started a thread about it. If you have any other questions let me know
