Me no good lol. buddies killed it.

Featured Replies

Took 3 days off work to hit the water. Went to usual cranking pattern and managed one baby 3.5lbr (dont know if i should post mine lol after theirs). Buddies though killed it. I tried all the cranking areas and couldnt buy a bite. But they found em! Not sure on their weights. think the bass are moving into spawning areas now so the deep patterns arent going to pan out as well. I inow they dont all spawn at once but seems to me most have left the deep water areas. Going again tomorrow so we shall see. Never mind the date lol obviously not right.

Ya sorry i weigh all my fish if u have ever seen my other posts. I usually have a pic of them hanging on scale.  But they do what they want lol.

Holy Snikies!!! Those are some nice fish. What a quartet!

Those are some beasts!  But calling a 3.5 pounder a baby, well, that's the almost the average size of the big bass winners in tournaments where I live.:)

Holy Moly!!!!!!!!!!

Those are some beauties. Every member of BR should throw in** and we buy these lakes and shut them down to the public and make it members only club.

** Redline Robert, you will need to bankroll the lion's share of this investment, but you may pull rank and kick others off a spot at any given moment

I know what u mean. But you would have to underatand the limits ive seen come out of this lake. Biggest ive seen is a 39lb limit. And 3.5lbr is a small fish out here. Me personallly have had a 26lb limit and a 27lb both which should have been 30lbs. Normal lakes i shoot for 5 fish 15lbs then look for a kicker to bring me into the 18lb range

Yes, I just wish Indiana was half as good as Arizona.:(  Indiana ranks last in the country if they are ordered by the average weight it takes to win the BASS tournaments there.

Man I cringed when I saw those big fish being held with fingers in the gills   Don't want to be that guy but if I had a fishery like that close by, I'd be babying those fish so much.

Back on topic, I'd love to catch a few "baby", 3.5 pounders this weekend. Your big girls normally move up shallow first, so that's probably why they were on your normal deep stuff. Find that first drop into the deeper areas that lead into spawning pockets/flats and I bet you get right back on them.
