Whats the reviews on this rod so far? I am looking for a good line through and soild body swimbait set up plus maybe some smaller glides as well.

    @Grantman83Just bought this rod and might be able to help you. He might be a bit biased on the length because it's the first rod in 28 years he has used that's over 6'6. No idea if he has thrown a swimbait with it. He would have to take them out of his purse to use them first.

    I have this rod but haven't used it on the water yet. But first impressions, it seems like a very nice rod, well worth of the Dobyn's name.

    It's all black EVA.

     

    I really like mine so far. The 2-3 ounce baits are where it really seems to shine. I've thrown a few baits like an A rig, 5" Savage Gear 3D Bluegill, 6" Punker, and 7" Duel and it handled them all very well. I was really starting to think I was about to the big bait season, and then the snow came...
