That poor boat... Sad that any idiot one can get in and drive a boat, too bad there isn't a license requirements for boats.

You have to have some sort of drivers license and have taken a boating safety class to drive one in Indiana.

This is from the same event on the same day.  The water was really high but falling.  Several guys had been successfully running to the dam the previous 3 days.  Falling water made it more treacherous by the end of the tournament.

Jared Miller isn't even fishing the Elites anymore.  Had he won that tournament he probably would be still.  I can't blame him for taking a calculated risk to further his career.

Jared's got a boat for sale on another site. Looks like the same boat in the vid.

That's no worse than when we were trying to get back across lake George (2nd biggest lake in fl) with 3-5 foot seas.Had a big crack in the side of the boat after that one.

gotta do what u gotta do!!^

Iv`e been in some hairy situations, but watching that  vid at the dam makes me shutter.

I have seen guys putting nice fiberglass boats into swift, rocky water that I was hesitant to put my kayak into, even with a PFD. I have even seen guys trying to get up rocky shoals to get to the swift water for stripers. That's jet drive territory if any.

Ever wonder why the "aliens" come to our little rock and don't stick around it doesn't take a "kinesiologist" at ucla med ctr to figure it out. Peace bassin bros
