I have a blue black jig tied on all the time but it doesn't work all the time. If it doesn't work, there's many other things to throw. That's how we keep Tackle Warehouse in business.

It's never too late. It may be the only year-round bait out there. 

I just started fishing jigs and am still learning to jig fish, that being said I have 1 rod for just jig fishing and have caught a few using them. From what I have read on this site, Jig fishing is a year long thing .

There's a reason I have 5 different jig rods and why when the "you can only have one lure" question comes up, it's always a jig for me. No other lure that produces in more ways in all seasons as a jig.
