Picked up a SK crappie crank that was pink a while pack, and then I read somewhere the phrase, "smallmouth love them too."

 

so the question is...has anyone ever caught a smallmouth on a pink crankbaits?

Yes I've caught smallmouth and largemouth on my pink crank. But I mainly use it for big summer time crappie. 

I just checked out the smallmouth fishing page and there is plenty of talk about pink lures. 

We are manly fishermen so we don't use "pink" lures we use "bubblegum" there is a difference.

Naw, I proudly toss a pink sparkle Bandit for smallies all the time, they love all that bling:)

Pink flukes and roboworms work great, if imagine the cranks would as well.

No, but I have caught plenty of largemouth on that "crappie crank" (its a series 3 with smaller hooks). 

I'm pretty sure a smallmouth will eat a crankbait that's any color, especially river smallmouth. If you have confidence in the color it will catch fish. 

Pink plastic on a dropshot works fantastic!
