Powder coat paint, or vinyl paint.......

Which one is easiest to use AND gives the smoothest results??

Are there any tricks that I would need to know first for using either one??

For instance, I read that to use the vinyl I'd need to apply 1 or 2 coats of white first, or else the colors will be nearly transparent over plain lead if I don't.  And I also read that I'd need to bake the powder coat in an oven at 350 or so, but for how long I don't know.

I started out using vinyl paint and now use powder paint. The reason I switched, was the #1. Vinyl paint is limited to colors and what you can do with it. #2 I got very bad headaches from smelling the fumes.

   So I now use powder paint. To me there is no smell no fuss. Just heat the jig, swish it through the paint, rack it, cure it in the oven and your done. If you have weed guards now is the time to glue them in, put on skirt and your done. The only thing I can say about powder paint is that you have to take some time to practice with it to get the hang of it. That's all

in simple terms  vinyl sucks.  Powder is better all around.
