help with lews tourney pro

Featured Replies

does anyone know the size of the two bearings that goes on the worm gear shaft? took my reel apart to clean and noticed one of the bearings is rusted and stuck. dont have a pair of calipers at home. thanks

Have you tried looking on their website for a schematic so you can order bearings from them?

If not, customer service has e-mailed me instructions and schematics.

I have the schematics but they don't tell me the size of the bearings. Was trying to see if I can get it cheaper from another site I have 3 tournament pros and don't mind upgrading those bearings to arb since they get exposed to a lot of crud

I would assume they are 4x7x2.5. DVT could probably give you a definitive answer.  I don't know about Lews handle post sizes but Daiwa/Shimano use that size on their handles. If you have one handy, pull a bearing out from the handle and swap it in to find out. If it is 4x7x2.5, go on Amazon and buy them from any RC car vendor. Might cost you 8-10$ for a dozen of them.

found some old calipers did some measuring and they were .156 id .275 od .098 wide. i think that coverts to 4x7x2.5. gonna try the cheap ones from fleabay 10 pieces for 6 bucks. thanks for the replies!
