There is this pond I am trying to fish. Like the title says, pretty clear water. The bottom is mucky with lots of weeds and leaves. Also I'm up in MA and I'm not sure how cold the water is, but it's cold enough to go numb after a few minutes, although the air temp is improving. I was told there was a lot of fish. Im thinking of just throwing out a bobber and worm just to see what's in there. 

Any advice on how to approach this pond would be awesome!

Weightless plastics, swim jig, jerk bait, square bill. The trick is to have just the bottom of the hook ever so slightly touch the bottom every 2 feet. Or in clear water really erratic movements will trigger strikes once the water warms up a bit. If the water is cold SLOW DOWN! A good jerkbait and let it sit for for up to a 5,6,7 count. As the others have said a drop shot,ned rig.
