6th sense lipless

Featured Replies

I've had some issues with 6th sense's lipless crankbait line. They are great lures, but I've ordered silent ones that rattle, faint rattles that don't rattle, and much variance between the faint rattle.

Has as anyone had similiar experiences with them?

*They always make it right and get you what you need, but I've called twice already and don't want to seem like I'm just a problem customer. I've also left them an email with this same information.

Through out the 6th Sense bait line, I have upwards of about 40 of so hard baits, including several lipless baits.

Needless to say, I'm a fan.

Of those, I've had One rattling crankbait (it was a proto type) that didn't rattle.

I e-mailed Casey - sent him the defective lure & he sent out a working replacement - along with a nice discount coupon.

Sometimes customer service satisfaction doesn't happen quite as fast as we'd like.

I'd say to continue to let them know the situation until you're satisfied with the out come.

Lol. I was posting on my phone and didn't realize which category I was in. I figured I would re-post in the right spot.

**I'm a big fan of 6th sense too, I just don't want to keep getting incorrect lures for 9 bucks a piece.

Sorry man, I've experienced similar things with other companies - never 6th Sense. For what it's worth, how is the customer service when you call and advise them of their mistakes?

They are real good and take care of the issue. There doesn't seem to be a solution though. It almost sounded like during the assembly process, some of the faint rattles get secured too snug in the cavity of the crankbait.

On the other hand, I'm not sure how a silent crankbait could rattle unless it was just mis-picked and packaged incorrectly.

I've been really looking at their products and want to buy some of their crankbaits, any advice on which ones to get?? Maybe you've noticed a certain type of them work better in certain situations. Im interested in the MVMT, 50X, and 75X lines. The colors I like are the chrome shiner, live baby shad, and the bluegill colors. Any help is appreciated!! Thanks!

i ordered a FRS and was sent a S. even tho the plastic wrapper had "FRS" on it,. the box itself said 70S. . other than that i havent had an issue.  awesome lipless cranks

I have only used there lipless cranks. I have a 50x I believe, but I still haven't used it. Sorry I can't really help, but I'm sure A-jay can. He has a bunch.

Just like selecting any bait, read about them, and based on their characteristics, choose the ones that fit your style of fishing & the bodies of water you fish.

These are good baits but nothing's magic.

As for if I "noticed a certain type of them work better in certain situations."; I'll tell you when I'm fishing in the right place, at the right time, and make a presentation that the bass like with a bait they want to eat - they work pretty good.

I tried out the 50x in boiled craw- freakin awesome! I caught a few fish on it today, really has a good tight wobble, I caught an almost 2 lb LM on it today and some smaller ones. I'm going to a bigger lake tomorrow in my kayak and hopefully I'll do just as well.
