Look what I found in an old box

Featured Replies

Anyone remember this givaway from the 80's? One of the better ones along with the Joe Camel crankbait.

Interesting that there are no green colors. Not very popular back then.

Really neat :) Them black/chart hook tail type got me hooked many, many years ago.

The black and red caught my first bass! My dad would throw the black/red and black/pink.

kinda partial to the tequila sunrise, pumpkin seed, and fire 'n ice over here!

I caught thousands of bass on that style worm . Looks like  they may be Mister Twister Phenoms or Manns Jelly Wiggler .

Green worms were not as popular then . Fliptail made a lime green worm that I used a lot .

The Mister Twister cycle tail worms were deadly back In the day as were the Rebel Ringworms. I haven't thrown a cycle tail worm In a long time.

I've caught a ton of fish on a bag of those black/red tail worms. Mister Twister I think.

I remember that kit from the 80's. That is definitely a blast from the past. I found an unused bottle of Original Fish Formula the other day along with some other tackle that i bought in the late 80's. Always great to find that stuff.

I found another blue box like this. I think I combined the two into one box. It also came with the lil 4" worms on the right

Is that Liberace's face on the box?  It looks like a cross between Elvis and Liberace.

Looks like Ebay has a few for sale and they say its from the 1990s.  $16.00 to $50.00.

Here's a sampling of a few baits from the 70's to 90's. They are nothing with much value just an example of what hoarders we fisherman can be.lol

There's three Doug Parker Rabble Rouser baits including the unboxed bait that I caught my first seven largemouth on, a Bagley's bait (baby bass) that I bought for a small amount of money at a small tackle shop in Arkansas back in '81. A sinking lazy Ike and aflatfish(?) given to me buy two buddies that got me started on the serious bass trek and lastly a couple of packages of the mid-90's soft cranker baits from Culprit. Enjoy! :)

Scale, I bought that bait unboxed off a rack for $1.00. It has never seen the water. lol I had no Idea what It was until maybe two years ago. I bought It because It was balsa and I had never had one before.
