Ive become a fan within the last year and would like to hear others opinions on what plastics they like from gambler and which products to avoid.

I like their boottails, their ace, and their burner worm and even little otter for buzzbait trailer...are there other must haves?  It seems like they have a complete line up of products.

Bb cricket is a winner.

i have high hopes for the cane toad.

Gambler EZ line of swimmers are some of my favorite baits. I love throwing a weightless big EZ on top of vegetation like a buzzbait, a EZ swimmer on a underspin. I punch with a Why Not, cricket, and burner craw. Flip wood with an Otter. But I usually always have a form of EZ swimmer on deck.

If I'm fishing in slop with plastics I'm using something from Gambler. 

The Burner Craw, Ugly Otter, Flap Daddy, Why-Nots, and Mega Craws are all really good. 

If I'm in open water or structure I think there are better options, but their stuff fishes the trash extremely well. 

Never had luck with ugly otter but never gave it a fair chance have no confidence it.. I do catch fish using the  why-not mainly punching with it but caught a few using it as a jig trailer... One day I will leave my sweet beavers and d bombs at home and give the ugly otter a fair chance

I like the ugly otters and burner craws. I seem to be the only person that can't stand their burner worms, I'll take a zoom speed worm over it any day.

The Burner Craw, Why Not, and Ace are awesome baits and they have some really cool colors to go along with their baits.

Oh, yeah! Gambler baits slide 'n' glide so very nice in Florida junk 'n' slime. They smell awful in a good way (the baits) and attract big bites. The past few weeks the blue/black Burner Worm T-rigged with a pegged 1/4 oz weight and a 6-0 EWG has been the ticket for me -- in lily shaded shallows or along weed edges lurking with angry mamas. And when some little guy bites off the tail, you now got a big fat stinky stick worm that'll entice sly old Grandma Chunk into the act to get smoked by your cigar. Luckily, I've got 5 more packs of Burner Worms coming to my doorstep Friday, along with some Burner Craws and VMC Super Duty 6-0 hooks.  Love my EZs too!  Go Gambler!

Gambler baits are top notch. I use them ragetail and d&m baits. The EZ swimmers all sizes are great, the mega daddy is great T rigged or for punching, as is the flappy daddy. The ribbon tail worm is great, and the BB cricket. Love their stick bait to. Can't go wrong with gambler

 

Most of what has already been listed, but my #1 is a Big EZ rigged with a 7/0 Duz-It.

Glad you mentioned that; I've been meaning to order a Duz-It to try on Big EZ and also on the Burner Worm.

The Cane Toads are great baits. A bit bulky, but a unique profile compared to a lot of the other soft plastic frog baits.

The Ugly Otter was the bait I used when I caught my first bass on a Carolina rig.  Love the action of the flappers in the water and they make some great colors.

I have a few bags of the Shakey Shads that I use on a dropshot.  Unique colors you can't find anywhere else and the plastic is very sturdy and durable (I nose hook my dropshot baits).  Body is a little stiff compared to other dropshot baits (like a SK Dream Shot, GYCB Kut Tail, Jackall Crosstail Shad) but the long tapered tail has good action.  Profile is a little larger than the dropshot baits I like to use (4" and under) and the "nose" is a tad large for the size 4 hooks I like to use.  If you use a size 2 or larger hook and like a slightly larger profile on your dropshot baits I think you'll really like them.  Also the way the nose is shaped, they'll work fantastic doing double duty on a shaky head.

Any thoughts on a buzzbait trailer?  I use a 1/4 oz buzzbait with black little otter that works well but want a white or shad 1/4oz buzzbait and the otters dont come in those colors.

Would the buzzing toad be too long and the cane toad too thick?  I was thinking 4" flapn shad.
