Hi all, this is my first post here... so I thought I'd share a pic of this beast I pulled in on Sunday.

Caught him on a chartreuse jig tipped with a bit of crawler in shallow water.  He sure gave my 8lb fluoro to the test!  I've been fishing this lake for 4 years now, and have never seen a bass this big.  His lips were beat up from being caught and released before, which tells me this fish is a veteran.  He also had a big jig head coming out of his anus!  It looks like he snapped someone's line and tried to digest the jig head... but yeah, I got that out of there for him, snapped a few pics, and sent him on his way.

This season looks promising!
