Progressive Boat Insurance vs Warranty

Featured Replies

I opted for the 7 year extended warranty on the motor thru Tracker Marine for a few bucks more a month.  Now I'm trying to buy insurance and Progressive has this 'Propulsion Plus Coverage' that seems somewhat redundant. Can anyone familiar with this protection share any experience? TIA!

The Propulsion Plus coverage covers the lower unit, not the motor itself

Good to hear, will just pay for it and hope I don't ever need it...

Boat insurance is generally dirt cheap for the coverage you get.  I understand its a state by state thing.  In Minnesota boat insurance actually isn't required but its pennies on the dollar for it so I'm not really sure why anyone wouldn't have it if they had at least a pretty nice rig.

Especially when she pays out a claim in less that 24 hours to get you back on the water before a tournament. Pretty sure I would a have kissed ol flo if I could have. Lol

Hey, she's a role model, wearing her Flo-tation vest.

Check it out!  My wife and I got our photo with Flo at the boat show in February.  Don't be jealous.

I just bought insurance on my boat from Progressive. It was cheap $225 for the year.
