Bass boat

Featured Replies

I just got in the market for a used bass boat and am looking for one under $2500 or around that. I found and 85 charger with 115 Mercury its 16 foot with a new trolling motor but no electronics. Is this a good deal or should I  hold off. Thanks.

Check the transom and the hull really well. Boat that old could have rotted wood on it. With 2500 I would steer away from glass and look for tin. Any glass in that range will be old and full of problems.

you could probably do better.

So much of a boats value lies in the condition of it. If it's beat to crap, faded out, needs things replaced then nope it's not worth it. If it was well cared for it might be worth it. With the details given, it's hard to tell you one way or another.
