Best customer service I've received

Featured Replies

My kitchen sink faucet started to leak (10 yrs old) so I emailed Moen to ask about purchasing a replacement seal kit for it. I gave them the model it was and so on and a day later I get an email back saying the replacement parts had been shipped. I called them to say that I didn't even give them a Visa card or paypal info and they proceeded to tell me that all Moen faucets are lifetime warranteed. They sent me a seal kit and new faucet cartridge; all no charge and no questions asked. It was the easiest procedure I've ever encountered.

If you are in the market for a new faucet or other fixtures that Moen provides, I'd look their way. They may be a few dollars more than some economy faucets but they sure stand behind them. Even after a time frame where I would expect a small leak here or there due to wear and tear.

Companies like that are amazing and I appreciate when the ones with good CS are recognized. I've dealt with some in the hunting industry like elite archery, vortex optics, ruger and bushnell who have all been great. Crazy thing is these products cost a hundred to a few hundred dollars and they break their back to keep their customers happy but it seems like spending thousands of dollars on a new vehicle just doesn't mean as much when it comes time for warranty work and the customer has to jump through hoops to get the problem resolved.

I have had the same thing with Moen, great people.great product.

Kohler does the same thing. They send you free replacements.

That's the reason why spending the extra upfront is worth the cost if you are going use them for many years. Buying quality once is cheaper in the long-run.

Good company.

i purchased a bushell scope back in '94. It was top of the line back then. I broke the screw head on the vertical turret with the bullet drop compilation. I hated to replace the scope with a more expensive model today. I called Bushnell service dept. a lady answered, a live person. I explained it to her. She said it's a discontinued scope but would try to cross reference the numbers. She found the replacement screw. I was happy so was my wallet too. Bb

Great to hear companies that back their product.

I've had a few warranty encounters with Moen and they are a great company. The customer support is very friendly and helpful.

So few companies today consider customer service in their business model. If they did customer loyalty would increase and so would profit. Just seems like it would be common sense but what do I know.

My father, who is 71, was a mechanic, like his father before him.  My dad has a ton of Snap-on tools that belonged to my Grandfather.  About 5-7 years ago, the plastic handles all stated failing, just crumbling in your hand when you tried to use them.  After he had a small box full of them he drove around until he found a Snap-on truck parked at a garage.  He spoke to the guy inside who looked everything over, made a list, and told my father that he would get a call when the truck was back with his new tools.  The original tools were likely bought sometime in the 1950s.
