New from Little Rock via Memphis

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I've been reading the forums for several weeks and figured it was about time I started to contribute. I just moved to Little Rock from Memphis for a new job. I'm living in an apartment, which means no boat (the worst). So right now I'm pretty much stuck to the bank until I find a more permanent arrangement with boat storage space. I've been hopping and dragging Texas rigged, tequilla-sunrise 7-inch power worms on the bottom since I was old enough to cast a rod, which is now about 20 years. Other than brief sojourns early in the morning to walk a spook, I've never really ventured much from the ribbon tailed worm, and I thought now would be a good time to learn more presentations. Thanks to every member who has contributed to these forums. It's a vast chamber of knowledge that appears to have some really great folks. After about 10 days, I know I'm a better bass fisherman for it.

Anyhow, I've rambled enough. Feel free to drop me a line with some good places to fish from the shore in Central Arkansas

Greetings and Welcome to the forums :)

Welcome aboard!

Welcome. I'm in the same situation just moved to Conway Arkansas. I notice a lot of good-looking water but don't have a boat. Are you located in Little Rock? If so I would go to the Alltel Arena and there is boat ramp near. A lot of big tournaments leave from that ramp. So all of the bass are released there as well.
