Just thought I'd throw this together and hopefully it will help some members out. There seems to be a fair amount of line questions on here. Remember to choose your line by diameter and not it's rated test. One companies #10 could be another companies #12 line.

Add some smaller diameter lines like Sunline Defier Armillo Nylon mono and Sniper FC.

Good point....I just came across this...I put Trilene XT on one rod to compare to Big Game. I had to go with 10lb test (.014) to get close to 15lb BG (.015).

Tom, I just quickly picked 4 lines that get mentioned a lot on here. If I have some free time at work today I'll try to add a few more to the post. 

I use Sun Line on every reel I have. They have the smallest diameter for pound test than any line I have found.

I like Sunline products too. I use their super sniper fc and super natural mono a lot.
