G.Loomis GLX

Featured Replies

This may have already been discussed but I'm in the market for a new rod and saw that the GLX's are on sale at Tackle Warehouse. I was wondering if Loomis is planning on redoing their GLX line? From my understanding it has been awhile since they "upgraded" that line.

Thanks for any info!

The new 2016 GLX models should be a unpgrade over the previous years models which are being closed out. Better and lighter blank plus full handles on the MBR models.

what kind of rod are you looking for?

the old GLX MBRs are still some of the best all around rods IMO

842,843,844

the glx 783 is still my favorite spinnerbait rod (over the nrx 843!)

I don't know if Loomis is revamping their walleye series, but I have the WPJR 821s GLX (6'10" Mag-Light) Walleye rod and it is absolutely the most sensitive spinning rod I have ever used!!!
