Well, I just got invited to fish in another boat so I will not impose on you, but I REALLY

appreciate the invitation.  However, I have an extensive list of way points and specific

spots to fish this week. I would like to invite you to follow us around, there are plenty

of smallmouth for all of us!

Yeah. I will get there around 4:30 on Thursday evening and plan to get in a night fish. Then fish all Friday and Saturday will depend on how they are biting. The weather is supposed to suck Friday, but we will make the most of it.

I am so disappointed I am missing this RT.

Post up how the trip is going as often as you can.

Have a great and safe trip y'all.

If any of you guys wants to fish tomorrow evening (Thursday) with me just shoot me a text. 541-281-7852.

Guys I'm backing out for safety reasons. They are pulling 160k CFS right now, it's at flood stage, and a couple guys died yesterday on it.

Kent I called and text you last night. I will try again today. Water is dangerous to begin with but uncontrollable water is too much.

Y'all be careful now.....that's a lot of water.

Those 2 guys were pulled over the spillway.

My Prayers go out to their families.

Back from the lake and all is well. We caught a few fish and recruited a new "fisherwoman". Her first

fish was ~3 lb smallmouth! Otherwise the fishing was just fair mostly due to the weather which restricted

where we could go, strong winds, high seas and rain.

Glad all went well.

3 pound smallie is pretty good.

Sorry the weather did not cooperate - but it tends to be like that sometimes on these road trips :P

5 members plus one wife. One from Alabama, the rest from the Memphis area.

Sorry I had to miss this one. But had to go to east tn with my wife. She tried to get it changed to this weekend. But everyone else has other things to do. So I had to go and sit through 2 Dinners and a baseball game. But being it was for her work. I felt that I needed to be there for her.

She did get a raise out of it.

Makes me sick that I could not attend, but I'm still recovering from a hip replacement.  Based upon a complete and almost overwhelming wave of apathy, I suspect that there will be no further attempts to organize further BR Road Trips. Sad. We used to have a lot of fun on those trips.

maybe next year we should try to get the word out across lots of forum subjects.

No, "the word" was out and I think we had 12 guys at one time. 25-30 or so has been more typical.

We locals might plan another trip together, but the BassResource Road Trips are probably history unless

some momentum develops.
