Greetings from OC/Fullerton

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

My name is Johnny and I started getting into lake fishing for bass 3 months ago. I got the annual pass to OCParks and have been checking them out on my days off. Been catching some bass, catch fish, and my first carp yesterday in Puddingstone lake. The lakes I normally go to are carbon canyon, craig regional, laguna lake, yorba lake, and puddingstone.

Excited for the fall/winter and looking forward to catching my first trout!

If anyone has a boat and needs some company or someone to chip in for gas hit me up!

Welcome aboard.

I grew up a few miles away from Laguna Lake (Rosecrans & Gilbert), I read they were doing some work on the bottom of that lake to slow the daily seepage loss of water.  Is that project complete & how has it affected the lake?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Ocdockskipper,

I started fishing at Laguna a few weeks ago so I'm not sure how it was before. Based on what the other anglers are saying the fish are all confused and out of whack, and the big ones don't seem to be around anymore. Did catch a lil 2 pounder on soft plastic right before I left tho!

Hi there Johnny, I used to live in OC as well in cerritos area but now move myself to riverside. I soon will move to canyon lake where is bass fishing heaven.
