Due to a recent episode at my house. 

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one,  "GOD HELP YOU IF YOU EVER NEED A PLUMBER!"

Being a plumber is a great career.

Don't need them often but when we do they are worth their weight in gold.

Water and electricity. We can't control either so use a professional plumber and electrician and you can't go wrong.

Worth their weight in gold. They absolutely agree with you. I found that out when they handed me the bill...lol.

A heart surgeon had a plumbing problem in his home. He called a Plumber, explained the problem and the PLUMBER went to work. When he was finished he handed the doctor the bill. The doctor gasped and replied, "I don't make this kind of money, and I'm a heart surgeon! " To which the plumber replied, "I didn't make this kind of money when I was a heart surgeon either ".

I hate plumbing. Seems I always have to make that 3rd or 4th trip to get another piece and when I'm done I have always got several pieces I just bought left over.

You have the right to remain silent:  You might as well because what you're about to say is most likely a lie anyway.

Anything you say will be used against you in a court of law:  Right. There will be a motion to suppress and you just have to tell the judge you were confused and everything you said will be ruled inadmissible anyway.

You have the right to have an attorney present before and during questioning if you wish:  It's three in the morning, you can't remember the name of "your lawyer" and arraignment won't be until Monday at ten AM.

If you can't afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you AT NO COST to represent you:  There goes that arraignment thing again.  Your a "commercial painter " living in a new home, driving a brand new lifted four wheel drive pulling two jet skis and " I can't afford a lawyer ", so you get one free.  Wait the tax payers paid for them.

If you decide to make statements or answer questions you can stop at any time:  Right. Just apply selective honesty and ask questions instead of reply to questions. If you do answer a question, finish it with, " I swear on my baby momma."

When your done with the investigation, ask yourself why you just didn't become a plumber to begin with. At least you can assure what way the BS runs in the drain.

Thankfully plumbing isn't a problem. My dad was an apprentice plumber before he went to Korea so I learned alot from him. Now heating, that's a different story.

I feel ya. Bought a house 2 years ago and copper plumbing was corroded and developed a leak under the slab. I had to re-plumb whole house. I'm 25 and had no experience but did it all myself. The new pipe called PEX is amazing stuff!

What went wrong with the plumbing ? The worst is when something goes wrong upstairs (if that applies to you) and then it goes through the whole house. 

What's worse than that is when you do installations for a living and you have to come behind people that do demos for servpro . Who when they take up carpet instead of pulling the staples they just bend them over (twice as hard to remove then) . Or when they make jagged cuts in the drywall and when they don't understand how a hardwood floor works, cutting through the middle of the planks.. 

But aye. Some of the most money I've ever made came off jobs that were all started because of faulty plumbing. And after all... that's why you pay all that money for your home insurance.

  Sulfur water seems to be corrosive on copper pipes.  Have seen it in a few areas near me.

The trick is to buy every part you see in that size, then return all the unused ones when your done.

Well the part I didn't explain was I hack or glue every piece so nothing is returnable. Almost as if I do not on purpose. :(

I just hire a professional now days. It's safer for those around me. Tools fly a long ways every now and then when I do plumbing. LOL
