What do you think is the best leader line (w/braid) for fishing in rocks?  I have been using P-Line Fluorocarbon but I am looking for something better.  Thanks for any advice.  

Look at fluorocarbob "leader material". Its deisned slecifically for leader use and is more abrasion resistant.

For rocks and particular nasty stuff, I use Hybrid and it's never let me down.  The stuff is tough.  Ridiculously tough.

I like Seguar blue label for 12lb+

Is there any one in particular that you recommend?   I looked at the Sunline leader line and it promoted the stretch in the line to absorb shock which is not my primary concern.  I am concerned with abrasion resistance first and foremost.  Thanks

If you wanted a spool of line that is tough as nails and to occasionally use as a leader, then Abrazx is great.

Ive been very pleased with seaguar blue label. Its usually $8 or so for 25yds on amazon, but occasionally less depending on #test. It is stiff soo you have to watch it if it bends hard but has held up well to abrasion for me. I use an albright to the braid and the "shaw grigsby youtube" knot to hook. 

I used to use remaining end of spools of regular flouro for leaders but after trying the actual leader material i can tell a diffrence. 

nothing wrong with seaguar blue label leader material.

I've used InvizX for the last year without any issues, and after seeing Zaldain pull some decent sized fish out of timber I think I'm going to stick with it to use on my squarebill / crankbait setup next year.

If you want to use the best line for tough leaders, use LEADER line, not reel fill.  Seaguar Blue Label Fluorocarbon Leader Material is what I use.  It's much tougher than any reel fill I've ever used.

The heavier sizes may affect a crankbait.  If you're worried about northerns, use something like coated, tie-able line like Cortland Toothy Critter.  I use heavy fluoro for jerk bait leaders.  Get a crimping tool and crimp locks if you go that route.  You won't be able to tie 80# leader.
