Hey how's every one doing?

So I am in search of cold weather bass fishing gloves. More specifically a pair of gloves that I can cast and not lose the feeling of my bait caster in my thumb while fishing. Also hoping that they will be water proof and wind resistant. Do any of you know of any gloves that exist?  

Also I am wanting to know what problems do you guys have with gloves, or do you even wear gloves, what features do you guys look for in a pair of fishing gloves, and do about how often do you buy a new pair of gloves?

I use White River fingerless fleece gloves from BPS all winter. I keep a few pairs so if one pair gets wet I can switch to a dry pair. They go on sale for $5 pretty often so they're cheap to stock up on. 

I fish until water is frozen - Cabelas guide wear fingerless gloves and have a really big pair of insulated gloves I wear over these when moving the boat.

Would you say that they run true to size? Or are they over or under sized? Buying things where fit is important can be a gamble online and returning things can sometimes be a hassle. Just thought I'd ask.

I've only ever seen them in 4 sizes; small, medium, large, and extra large. I feel like I have about average sized hands a 6' tall male and I wear the large. 

I wear the cheap ones from walmart. I believe they're the light weight hunting gloves. They aren't waterproof but do a decent job of blocking the wind and they allow me to feel the spool of a baitcaster with them on. I'll replace them when they wear out, or I lose them...usually that happens first haha. 

so fleece gloves?? @WIGuide what gloves are they and how much do they run?? and how often do you replace them? would you spend more $$$ on a pair that would last longer? 

Thats the boat im in, like I want glove that is durable and will last. I see SIMMS glove everywhere and id spend the money on them but im trying to see if theres any other options? 

Does feeling the baitcaster spool matter to everyone or am i just picky? lol

I use the Simms Exstream gloves. Their gloves are full but they have an option to slide the top of the glove off of your thumb and/or index finger

Try Lowes and Home Depot. I'm thinking HD had the better ones.  There really thin rubber Palm (water proof) with stretchy material on the back. Skin tight!  And only 5 bucks a pair. Garilla Grips I think the name was. Look closely because they had a few similar pairs last year some are thicker rubber and not so sensitive. There not real good in really cold temps but better then nothing. I can't do the thick gloves or fingerless. 

Lord I hope they still have them in stock this year.  I'm going to by a box of them if they do.
