Hi fellow anglers, I'm new here. I live in Lufkin, Texas, just moved here three months ago from Austin. I've heard there's are some great fishing spots here and I'm particularly looking forward to exploring Sam Rayburn Lake. I've heard bass are plentiful there. I've gone fishing several times at Ellen Trout Zoo. I know, don't say it. You wouldn't think fishing would be an option there but they have a beautiful lake just for that. Caught a ten pound catfish two days ago using night crawlers. If anyone has info on exactly where to fish at Sam Rayburn, please let me know. Thanks!
